Happy anniversary

On Saturday Isobelle took the children to see Nelson and they played some games. They took a lovely orchid plant to Nelson and it looks beautiful in his room. Hopefully he will remember to water it!

Giles visited in the afternoon and Nelson really appreciated him playing the Tibetan Singing Bowls, seeming completelly refreshed after 40 minutes.

Sunday was our anniversary which was emotional for both Nelson and me. Our friends Eve and Flavio came along and with Darius we all had a celebratory picnic in the park near the nursing home (right near the playground!). We had nibbles and non-alcoholic bubblie.

Nelson spent a bit of time with Darius while he was on the play equipment, amazed at how agile he has become. Darius enjoyed being allowed to drink "bubble water" from his own little glass and "cheers" us all.
