Nelson seemed very confused to hear it was my birthday yesterday and tried quite hard to convince me that I had it wrong, which I thought was quite an interesting response.... I had a nice up beat visit with him with Darius on my way to visit a friend for a birthday dinner.
Today Nelson refused to come to a family gathering because it was being held in the early afternoon and he thought he might need to spend too much time in the bathroom at that time of day. It was a great pity that he wouldn't come, but his being embarrassed by such things is certainly progress in itself.
